This is one of the latest feature of the whatsapp global update which launched recently. Now, whenever you are sending a photo using WhatsApp you will see a small text saying, “Swipe up for filters”.
By swiping up, you will notice a set of filters you can apply to your photos, just like on Instagram. In the beginning, there are only 6 filters available but they are expected to increase with updates that will come in future. Also, now when you send four or more photos at once, the photos will be send inside an album , now they will not interrupt your chats no more.
You can now send messages by using Google assistant or siri on whatsapp
Assume you need to send someone a message or anything and are not in a mood to type or maybe you are in a circumstance where typing is not an option. So you have to worry anymore, WhatsApp has got you covered here. You can now send messages on WhatsApp by using the voice assistant on your phone and it supports both Google Assistant and Siri.
You can now disable notification preview
Securing your WhatsApp account is one thing, hiding your messages from someone’s eyes is another. By default, anytime we receive a notification, we can see a preview of the message on the lock screen and while that is useful, anyone using your phone can see the previews of your personal messages. To stop the preview feature on the iPhone, go to WhatsApp Settings>Notifications>Show Preview and then you have disable it.
In Android Settings>Notifications>Notification Settings and select “Hide sensitive notification content”.
These tricks will definitely come in handy as we tackle these kind of situations in day to day life.
