Also, the rollout of content syndication partnership is not as smooth as one would expect from Airtel. 1st of all, no update has been pushed by Airtel after the announcement of the partnership, which means if someone already has an Airtel TV app & wants to watch Hotstar content they simply cannot view it without uninstalling the current app & then reinstalling it. In fact, Syndication was very good with Amazon Prime.
Secondly, after one has reinstalled the Airtel TV application only live channels of Hotstar are visible instead of the complete bouquet which includes movies.

Airtel Hot–spot (Wi–Fi) : Airtel has slashed the price of its 4G Hotspot portable Wi-Fi device to ₹999 as it attempts to bring more consumers on its network. The Airtel 4G Hotspot allows users to connect multiple devices, from Android phones & laptops to tablets & smart TVs, on a portable network for connectivity on the go. With this price cut, Airtel is bringing the fight to R Jio as its JioFi M2S 4G hotspot device is also priced at ₹999. Before the price cut, the Airtel 4G Hotspot was available at roughly ₹1,500 across the country.
In a statement, the country’s biggest telecom operator said the portable net device is available at all leading Airtel retail stores across the country. Apart from this, customers will soon be able to get it from Amazon India too. This price cut from Airtel comes roughly three months after R Jio cut the price of its JioFi M2S by half in a promotional exercise.
The device requires an Airtel SIM card to work, & needs to be recharged periodically, just like the SIM card on a Android mobile phone.If the Airtel 4G network is not available in one area, the switch will be switched on the Hot-Spot 3G network. On its official webpage, the company claims the device can connect up to ten devices at a time, & delivers battery life of up to six hours.
