Window 10 April 2018 Update is receiving a new cumulative update today with a long list of fixes. The direct download links for Window 10 KB4467682 are also available and you can use them to manually update your systems.
Window 10 KB4467682 will advance your computer to Build 17134.441 and it will show up on April 2018 Update (version 1803). It’s worth noting that there are no new cumulative updates for Window 10 October 2018 Update but Microsoft appears to be testing a new build with Insiders.
Window 10 Build 17134.441 comes with a long list of fixes and it has also addressed a bug where in some cases the file association feature failed to change the default application settings for some Win32 apps including Notepad. This has been finally addressed in today’s update. “Addresses an object that prevents some users from setting Win32 program default for certain App and file type conjunction using the Open with… command or Settings > Apps > Default apps,” Microsoft explains.
