1) Turn off devices:
All routers will have wireless signal light flickering over it. These lights will only flicker if any devices are connected to it. First, we need to turn off all the devices or unplug them. And make sure no other devices are connected to Wi-Fi. Now the wireless light won’t flicker. If it is still flickering, then someone other than you is using your Wi-Fi connection. If you can’t do this at your home as some devices need to be connected to the Wi-Fi continuously.

- Locate the page which lists various Media Access Control address connected to the computer.
- Mostly this page will be available under the “wireless configuration”, “wireless status”, or in the” DHCP client list”.

- If you don’t have a password, then set a new password in the administrator page.
- Never use the default username and password provided by the network
- Always use strongest wireless encryption which is WPA2
- Old routers don’t use WPA2 so better change it
